the brief

Gemma was rebranding and required professional brand imagery to have visuals aligned with the new look and feel of her business. She was creating a website and was keen to visually reflect all the aspects of work that she does.

Gemma has many facets to her business and ways of working with her clients. From seeing people in her therapy room to walking and talking in nature. It was important to capture these in creative ways so she had a diverse range of images to tell her stories on both her website and through her social media.

In Gemma’s business, clients buy into working with her and her personality. To share these key aspects of her brand to build know, like and trust we wanted to reflect more than just her brand work story. Her Lifestyle and Passion brand stories needed to be told too. You can see here, her love of where she lives, her beautiful dog Chunk; and her passion for health and wellness running through all that she does. All key elements of her personal brand that drive her to do what she does so well

RESULTS

Since her brand shoot Gemma has launched an incredible new website making full use of her brand images. She is walking her talk, celebrating her uniqueness through her visuals telling her own stories

“Kier provides an amazing brand photography experience. From the first intro call, to the final delivery of the images, she provided a professional, accessible and brilliant service.

This started by my completing a document with her to flesh out venues and some of the shots required. She was great at gently taking me through a process which was totally unknown for me and this was so helpful as it helped me to feel more confidence and excited about the shoot – instead of nervous.

The shoot day itself was fantastic. There were logistical issues from my side which meant I was racing around with high levels of stress, but Kier’s friendly, encouraging approach, and intitiave soon meant the day was fun.

It felt friendly and natural and I was able to relax in front of the camera for the first time ever. The shots were interesting and Kier’s suggestions were all useful.

The thing I wasn’t expecting was just how much fun we had. There were so many laughs along the way and the day went so very quickly.

I received a selection of images super quick afterwards and then we had a call to chat through the others and decide if I wanted any cropped.

I have my finally images now and I couldn’t be happier. I definitely look like me – but actually me, not a frozen, rictus grin version. The biggest problem has been deciding what images to use where. I also have images relevant to my brand without me in them. These will be so much more useful than stock images as they are of items personal to me and my business (including the dog) and are therefore perfect for so many different applications.

I would 100% recommend working with Kier for a photo shoot that feels like a series of chats and laughs with an old friend but that produces high quality and amazing images“
